The Stockmen Under-10 Blues were the first to show off their skills on the Canberra Raiders’ home ground. They defeated South Tuggeranong 12-10. Clinton Latham was Player of the Match.
In the U11 game, Goulburn and Weston-Woden were crowned joint winners after the score-trading game concluded at 30 points each. Mitchell Latham was Player of the Match.
In the Goulburn U12 Blues vs South Tuggeranong clash, a thrillingly close game saw Goulburn secure the win 14-12.
The U13 Division 1 Blues game produced a convincing win for Goulburn. The Stockmen ran away to a 30-18 win over Valley Dragons. Damien Chamberlain was Man of the Match.
He was also the highest points scorer for 2016 with 54 tries, 28 goals, 272 points.
There was a similar result to that of the Goulburn Division 1 U11s in the Crookwell Green Devils vs Cooma Colts grand final. These two teams also shared the game honours, with a 24-point draw.
Goulburn U14 Division 1 Stockmen finished as runners-up in the competition. They fought hard, but could not match Woden, going down 24-16.
