The final will be played between Whittington and Keith Gray. Neil has proven himself to be hard to beat over the past few years, winning the last two.

Mixed pairs

DURING the week Neil Whittington and Jodi Marshall played their first round match against Phil Greenhalgh and Cheryl Corby.  Whittington and Marshall came away with a 20 to 16 win. This game could have gone any way and was only decided on the last end.

The first of the second round matches was played last Saturday between Brendon Dower and Edith Rice who met Robert Coulstock and Carol Simpson.

Coulstock and Simpson won in a hard fought match, until the 13th end, where it was 10 all. Over the next eight ends Coulstock and Simpson pulled away to win 22 to 13. Congratulations to all players in this game very competitive contest.
