Marulan Kite Festival October 30, and other town news

The Kite Festival is on Sunday, October 30 at Tony Onions Park in George Street, Marulan, from 9am to 3pm. Flying, entertainment, displays, competitions, market stalls, rides, a Show and Shine, fine food – just to name a few. Photography and visual art shows will be in the hall; the CWA will be have morning teas, light luncheons; the Marulan Lions Club tent will have sausage and steak sandwiches; even a wine stall. Stop and chat with the Rural Fire Service or the Police Liaison Unit. Other attractions include the Billy Boil Cup at the Terminus Hotel and wood-chopping show, and the Highlands School of Performing Arts. See marulanfestivalf.org.au or call 0408 421 199.
