Festival favourites include the CWA Bake-Off, the Art Show and Exhibition, and the Photography and Visual Art Show.
Vintage cars will put pride and joy in the Show and Shine. Test tea-making skills in the Billy Boil Cup, and watch wood chopping at the Terminus Hotel.
The Bol Running Competition will see parachute races in teams of two, with much kite flying throughout the day.
There are lots of new attractions and competitions at this year’s festival, including a kite-colouring competition where children have the chance to have their coloured drawing made into a kite by Kite Magic at the festival. All ages can try their hand in the kite-making workshops.
If kite flying is not for you, there will be plenty of entertainment with: the children’s Pet Show for all small animals; rides for the young and young at heart; stalls with great food and wine; and the Lions Club tent will return to tempt you with steak or sausage sandwiches.
Say hello to the Rural Fire Service or the Police Liaison Unit and browse speciality shops in the main street.
