It was a thrilling feature race from start to finish as were all the other feature races on the program. Several cars received panel damage or suffered mechanical issues that forced their early retirement.
Even though Damien McAlister (2nd) and Craig McAlister (3rd) were essentially team mates of the winner, it did not stop them trying to gain the centre podium spot in the highly competitive race with Brent Croker not far off the pace after largely avoiding the track carnage and fighting his way through the slower cars.
