For the next few months, ceramic works from Helen Eatough, Susan Harris, Mary-anne Bridge, Maggie McFadyen and Penny Saxton will be on display and available for purchase at 98 Chairs in Goulburn.
Changing the menu and art every three months, the current exhibition will be on display between November and January.
Using only local fresh produce to create the menu, chef and owner Steve Walker said the same ethos could be applied to the art.
"We strongly support local food and artists," he said.
"This is our 11th display of local artists here in the restaurant. People really enjoy it, especially tourists who want to see what the town has to offer, and regular customers love to come and embrace different food and art."
After having no space for the pottery and ceramic works, the collection of jugs, plates and pottery created by the artists were labelled 'New Beginnings' in reference to their new home and appearance at 98 Chairs.
Despite the active presence of local art galleries, Mr Walker said restaurants were a great place for art to be displayed to the public.

"We have a strong art scene here in Goulburn, but there are quite a few people that walk in and out of this place, so there is a lot of welcomed exposure," he said.
Accessible and unique, the interior restaurant is constructed with recycled products and local produce. Everything from the floor boards, table and walls echoes a place with immense history and future.
In addition to the current works scattered around the restaurant, personalised plates created by the exhibited artists will also be served to customers.
"When we serve the food on the plates, and people see them being used, they don’t just only see it, but also experience it," he said.
Mr Walker remembered 15 people attended the first exhibition. Now the restaurant attracts around 80 people for new artist exhibitions.
