Priyanka Nandasena’s photograph of iconic Belmore Park on a sunny winter’s day is one of the 12 winning images in the ‘Postcards From Your Town’ competition. 

The ActewAGL-sponsored prize of $500 for each winner was announced at the Canberra Glassworks recently, which Mr Nandasena attended with his family.

The energy company has included the winning photos in a free 2017 ‘Postcards From Your Town’ calendar. The Belmore Park photograph will feature under ‘April’.

Mr Nandasena said the Belmore Park photo reflected his heartfelt love of the Goulburn and district community. “Goulburn is a vibrant, friendly and affordable place to live and raise kids,” he said.

ActewAGL’s marketing director Paul Walshe said the was “a creative and striking way to promote our region through images that have significant meaning”.

The calendar captures the region’s diversity “from coast to paddock, city to village” and is available at no cost from BBQs Galore at 388 Auburn Street (see the ActewAGL Energy Shop inside).
