A family of four from Newcastle remain in the Canberra Hospital after their campervan collided with a b-double on the Hume Highway at Yarra.
A mother, 38, and her 13-year-old son were in critical conditions after a semi-trailer ploughed into the back of their motor home late on Friday night. They are now in a stable condition, according to a spokeswoman from the Canberra Hospital.
The other family members were treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for injuries. The man was treated for shoulder pain while an 11-year-old boy was treated for minor injuries.

UPDATE 1:30PM SATURDAY:
Police have charged a 43-year-old man over a crash that injured four people, including a teenager, last night.
Officers said a family’s Mitsubishi mobile home rolled and hit a tree after a B-double allegedly crashed into the van’s rear just after 11pm Friday. The crash happened at Run-O-Waters on the Hume Highway, some 2km south of Goulburn’s southern exit.
A 13-year-old boy was thrown from the vehicle. He was taken to Canberra Hospital where he remains in a critical and unstable condition.
The driver, a 43-year-old man, the front passenger, a 38-year-old woman, and fourth passenger, an 11-year-old boy, were all treated at the scene.
They were also taken to Canberra Hospital.The woman remains in a critical but stable condition.
The man was treated for a shoulder injury and the 11-year-old boy was treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the b-double, a 46-year-old man, was arrested and taken to Goulburn Hospital for mandatory blood and alcohol testing.
He was released from hospital and taken to Goulburn Police Station where he was charged with two counts of dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm-drive manner dangerous, two counts of cause bodily harm by misconduct of a motor vehicle and negligent driving (occasions grievous bodily harm).
He was granted conditional bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court on Friday, February 17, 2017.
7:30AM SATURDAY:
A 13-year-old boy is in a critical condition after he was ejected from a campervan in a Hume Highway crash on Friday night.
Emergency services were called to Run-O-Waters, just south of Goulburn at about 11pm.
A family was driving along the highway, just south of the city shortly before 11pm, when a semi-trailer allegedly impacted with the rear of their campervan.
During the crash, the boy was ejected from the campervan and received serious head injuries.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.
An 11-year-old boy, and two other people from the campervan were also treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for spinal injuries and conveyed to Canberra Hospital in stable conditions.
The driver of the truck was arrested and taken to Goulburn Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
Officers from The Hume Local Area Command with the assistance of the Crash Investigation Unit attended and a crime scene has been established which will be examined by forensic officers.
One southbound lane of the Hume Highway was closed during investigations. The lane has since re-opened.
