The National Broadband Network aims to be almost 50 per cent complete by June 30 this year, in 5.4 million homes and businesses. NBN chief executive Bill Morrow said the aim was to finish the build by 2020. “As the network rolls out, we will be met with new problems to solve,” he said. “We understand there will be some disruption for residents and business owners [but] the payoff will be worth it”.
