Two of the big beneficiaries of this motorcycle only swap meet are the rotary Club of Goulburn, which operates the barbecue and refreshment stand catering for the hundreds of stall holders and an even larger number of lookers and potential purchasers of second hand bikes , parts, accessories manuals, and repair equipment. The second is Goulburn CanAssist which staffs the gate collecting the entry fees. CanAssist provides help for local people in meeting some of the expenses associated with cancer treatment
The classic riders also make substantial donations to other organisations throughout the year and adds to their fundraising and assistance of other organisations with its classic ride weekend and other activities.
One of the event organisers Wayne Adams said that they thought this was the largest swap meet they had ever organised and being a bike only event, it is probably the largest of its kind in NSW.
"We have had a tremendous number of interstate stall holders this time with particularly large numbers from Queensland, Victoria and South Australia," Mr Adams said. “We don’t know the numbers yet but we are sure this is our biggest.”
