Susan Jane Jongsma, 52, of Goulburn, did not enter pleas to charges of wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, contravening a domestic violence order and destroying property when she appeared in Goulburn Local Court on Tuesday.
Police will allege that on Sunday, December 25 about 7.30pm, a 64-year-old man was walking on Valley Walk, Goulburn, when he was hit by a vehicle and pinned against a fence.
Emergency services attended and Police Rescue removed the man from under the car. Police located Jongsma a short time later and she was taken to Goulburn Base Hospital where she was later charged.
In court, her solicitor Sam Rowland asked for a six-week adjournment to allow a brief of evidence to be compiled.
Magistrate Geraldine Beattie adjourned it to Queanbeyan Local Court on April 4. Her bail is to continue.
