This Flock Ewe Competition at this years Gunning Show has been cancelled following the tragic death of local farmers Andrew and Annie Basnett.

The competition, which runs each year in the Gunning Show, attracts merino breeders from across the state.
In a show of respect, organisers of the event have cancelled the competition.
The Basnett family won the competition in last years show and were one of the finalists at Sunday’s event.
The Gunning Show will proceed as organised on Sunday, February 19 at the Gunning showground.
