In the junior steer ride 8 to 11 years, Tommy Lawrence and Levi Ward tied with 74 points to share first prize.  n the 11- u14 junior steer ride Toby Deudney and Jackson Searle split the first and second prize money when they each scored 73 points.

In the saddle bronc ride, Cooper Thatcher, Tom Kerr and Shaun Read tied with 75 points each to split the $1500 total prize money for the event. But it was in the open bareback ride that there was a four-way tie to claim the entire event prize pool of $1450. Brian Smith, Clinton Pickering, Shannon Davey and Harley Mackin all scored 71 points and walked away with $362.50 each for their eight second ride.

With a cool breeze blowing across the ground, conditions were ideal for competitors and spectators, who witnessed plenty of thrills and spills as well as skilled horsemanship from the timed event competitors.

Eddie Carlon claimed first prize in the open bull ride on a bull called Pale Face and a score of 81 points. This was one point better than Nathan West on Air Raid with an 80-point score. Close behind on 79 was Tim Amey who drew Bad Attitude, then Kye Keioskie with 78 on Crusty Critter and Michael Rowson on G Force who finished with 72 points and fifth prize.

Competitors had travelled from all around Australia to take part in the rodeo, including one over 40s bull rider who flew in from the Northern Territory but went home empty handed. No one lasted the time in this contest but Jason Webb from Coffs Harbour stayed on the longest for the buckle.
