Cr O’Neill spoke about family life; friendships made in her time as a councillor; representing Goulburn as a councillor and the city’s improvements; education and the Crescent School; the Challenge Foundation and the new 28-bed accommodation on Marys Mount Road; the accommodation waiting list for people with disability; the McDermott Centre, its community groups and future changes planned; the Veolia Trust; the Sporting Hall of Fame, and her OAM.
On a lighter note, Cr O’Neill told us of the wonderful times when she wore her “odd shoes” and of the beautiful people in Goulburn, the beautiful city.
At the end of her presentation Cr O’Neill answered questions from members and guests and was presented with a gift in appreciation by Joan Scott.
