Ellen Ryan will join 16 players as part of the Australian Jackaroos Squad to compete against England at the Broadbeach Bowls Club.

Ryan will make her international debut along with Scott Thulborn, 33, and Corey Wedlock, 20.

Her participation in the Commonwealth Youth Games, World Youth Championships and competing for the World Under-25 Indoor Singles title makes her the perfect candidate for the team.

She will become Australia’s 84th female representative.

“Corey, Scott and Ellen have all represented Australia in uncapped international events over the past few years with distinction and are deserving of an Australian cap,” national coach Steve Glasson said.

The three-day Broadbeach event will run from April 26-28 in 2018.
