Mayor Bob Kirk officiated at the ceremony in the Council Chambers, with Deputy Mayor Alfie Walker and Councillor Leah Ferrara also attending to welcome our new citizens. New citizens came from all corners of the world, including Nepal, India, England, China and Greece.
“It is always an honour to welcome new Australian citizens from a range of different backgrounds into our community” said Mayor Bob Kirk.
“We are lucky to live in Australia, and in Goulburn Mulwaree, and these ceremonies are always a great reminder for us all to be thankful for the freedoms we enjoy.”
