Sarah Sylvester, Cameron Phelps, Tanisha-Rose Gannon and Maggie Nolan received $1500. Students Janelle Spowart, James Heeley and Kami Boerma secured scholarships valued at $2000.
TAFE NSW manager district operations David Guthrey congratulated the students in an awards ceremony in Goulburn.
“The Veolia Scholarships are very important in assisting local students to achieve their vocational training goals,” Mr Guthrie said. “We thank the Veolia trustees for their ongoing support they continue to provide to our students.”
John Reynolds of Veolia said the TAFE was doing a wonderful job and is an important part of the community.
The recipients will use the money to pursue vocational courses such as teaching, surveying, journalism and agriculture. The trust provides financial support to students.
