Gary Eck has just launched his first children's story, ‘Wake up Sleepyhead’.
Gary entertained the students over three different sessions, by telling stories of his childhood and then reading the story.
On the second reading, he had all students on their feet and the floor asleep, involved in the telling of the story.
It was loud, but lots of fun!
Students then had the opportunity to ask the author questions during and question and answer time.
The students were given insight into the process involved in writing, editing and publishing a children's story.
Although entertaining, Gary delivered a clear message through his book and stories about his own life experiences; even the small and meek can achieve great things.
