The winners for the club’s last NSW 2017 Championship include: Hayden Ward (Major Singles Champion), Hayden Ward and Keith Gray (Major Pairs Champions), Phil Greenhalgh (Minor Singles Champion) and Paul Johnson and Michael Argent (Minor Pairs Champions).
Nominations for both the Club Triples and Fours has opened, with winners eligible to compete as part of the ACT Champion of Champions.
President Reg Thoms has welcomed the ACT Championships with open arms and looks to a long and rewarding liaison as part of ACT Bowls.
Long travel distances across NSW was cited as a contributing factor to the club’s shift into the ACT competition at a meeting last month.
The club is calling for nominations in the over 60s Championship to be played at Weston Creek on August 15 and 16.
