In Sydney District Court on Friday, Judge Anthony Blackmore set down the former Saint Patrick’s College teacher and dormitory master’s trial for May 7 in the same jurisdiction. It is expected to take five days.
The 66-year-old, of Mulgoa, is facing three charges of sexual/indecent assault of a person under 16 who was under his authority.
Police alleged he assaulted three boys aged 12 to 14 at Saint Pat’s in 1986 and 1987. He has not entered a plea.
Curtin was arrested on February 6 this year after presenting himself at Goulburn Police Station.
He was charged by detectives assigned to Strikeforce Charish, formed to investigate allegations of child sexual assault at the College between 1978 and 1990.
On Friday, Judge Blackmore continued Curtin’s bail without variation.
