The selections came after the recent NSW Championships in which both the boys and the girls Goulburn number one teams came away with Championship wins.
The National Championship are to be played in Perth starting September 27 and concluding October 8.
Goulburn has four boys in the NSW teams (NSW has two boys and two girls teams) and two in the ACT’s side.
The young players have been successful in their selection due to the dedication, knowledge and skill given and taught by girls coach Naomi Jones and boys coach Steve Downey and assistance coach Nick Craig, along with their Managers Mandy McCarthy and Anthony Skelly.
Costs involved are around $4000 per child so the players, coaches and parents are fundraising to defray the costs.
Andy and Jodi from Divall Earthmoving and Bulk Haulage were very quick to assist with $1000 to help kickstart the fundraising.
