One lane on Forbes Street will be closed, with an alternate traffic flow put in place. There will also be a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h for workers’ and motorists’ safety.

Geotechnical investigations were carried out by the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) to inform the design of the crane pad required to demolish the bridge.

RMS recommend motorists allow up to five minutes of additional travel time and thanked the community for their patience.
