It was a good day all round for the Goulburn District Netball Association on the weekend with two teams taking first place.

The Goulburn District Netball Association (GDNA) made their mark at the ACT competition on the weekend with two out of three teams taking out gold.

The senior team Vixens and the intermediate team Titaniums both won their third division, and the second intermediate team Blue Magic placed third.

The annual Tuggeranong District Netball Association competition hosted over 24 teams across the district.

But it was not only the GDNA players who were celebrating on the day, with recognition awarded to the GDNA umpires as well.

Kyra Baker, Simone Blay, Skye Deighton and Doogie Harrison were named best umpires on the day and upmired at the grand finals.

Proud GDNA president Buddy Ahearn congratulated the players across the three teams.

  • The GDNA are set to commence their annual social Twilight Competition tomorrow.
