Their last shoot, on October 1, coincided with the grand final and everyone was encouraged to wear the colours of their favourite NRL team, whether or not they were in the final game. The course was set by club president Tom Shinfield and target officer Warren Thorpe and it sure was a spectacular one! Although it was windy at times, the sun was shining beautifully all day. There were 61 shooters out on the range in 12 squads. Tony Palko was best dressed, wearing a complete Sharks outfit including footy boots.
“It was great to see everyone getting into the spirit of grand final day,” club publicity officer Angie Thorpe said “The sledging included!
“Congratulations to all the shooters on making it a fantastic day, we loved having you shoot at our range.”
