Letter to the editor: Give citizens the choice

Dual citizenship should not be such a big problem. 

These people should have been given the choice to simply decide which citizenship they’d rather keep. Just look at the expense to elect someone to replace them!

I would also like to bring up: When Australia goes to war with someone, do they dismiss dual citizens? I remember many so-called emigrants getting not only called up, but serving in Vietnam and other wars.

It is time our politicians grew up.
