The club will feature a resident band called The Hang, who play funk, soul, rock and jazz.
The Hang features some accomplished musicians Rodrigo Martin-Silva on percussion, Cavan Te Ratana on vocals, Andy Picker no drums and Gooch Wilson on bass.
All have played professionally, with Cavan Te Ratana singing with Jimmy Barnes and Dami Im, among others.
Mr Martin-Silva has been a professional Cuban, funk, Latin and jazz musician for 15 years and also builds cajónes, which are wooden box drums.
Mr Martin-Silva said the idea of the night is for other musicians and music students to come down and have a jam “with the big boys.”
“It is also to provide a social gathering for the musical community here in Goulburn, which is becoming very vibrant,” he said.
“Musicians usually work on the weekends so the Tuesday night gig gives us all an opportunity to catch up and also from the venue’s point of view - Tuesday is usually a quiet night, so this might help build the night up.
“We are also doing it as an opportunity for the band to get together regularly - to create a vibe here in Goulburn.”
The band nights will start from November and will then be on every Tuesday from 6pm.
