First up will be Combined Churches Carols, planned for Victoria Park on the evening of Sunday, December 10.
Last year, cold, wet weather saw the event moved at last minute to St Nicholas on Kinghorne Street, where festive faith met with a warming Lions Club sausage sizzle.
Family and friends waved battery-lit candles as a ‘house band’ led the music from the front, followed by a seasonal sermon.
Then, very nearly on the cusp of Christmas itself, will be Carols of Hope.
This long-running event, an initiative of local realtor Peter Mylonas, is planned for Belmore Park from 6pm on Friday, December 22.
Mr Mylonas puts weeks of work into securing top-class acts alongside leading local artists for a rousing sing-along, with carols accompanied by contemporary hits.
Admission to both events is free, though donations are welcome on the day.
The Goulburn Post will have more detail on these evenings in December soon.
