I am Victoria Arnall and I am going to tell you a little bit about myself and my practice, Victoria Arnall Solicitor. My practice consists of myself, the principal solicitor, and my two gorgeous receptionists (see below advertisement). I have been practicing in Goulburn for nine years and have built a healthy client base. I practice mainly in the area of Conveyancing, however, I also do Leases, Business Acquisitions and Disposals, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Guardianship Orders and Estates.
Let’s talk a bit about Conveyancing. Conveyancing is, simply put, the buying or selling of property, and no matter whether you are buying or selling, it is probably one of the biggest things you will do. In each matter, I try to ensure it runs smoothly so as to take the stress out for you. Essentially, there are three main ‘phases’ of a conveyancing process: an offer to either buy or sell property is accepted; contracts get prepared and forwarded to the vendor and purchaser’s solicitor; and contracts are exchanged. In a typical transaction, ‘exchange’ locks both parties to the contract.
Once contracts are exchanged, all parties then proceed to settlement, which is when money, Titles and keys are handed over. This is a very basic analogy, however, I subscribe to the theory of ‘keeping it sweet and simple.’ My clients pay me to do a job, and I don’t believe they should be required to do that job for me. Next time you are buying or selling property, give me a call on 4822 6887 or come and see me at 76 Bradley Street, Goulburn.
