Four of our members attended the Breast Cancer Morning Tea at the Soldiers Club on October 19. This was a delicious morning tea and so beautifully presented by Angela and staff of the Puffin on the Park Coffee Shop.
Our members joined with other Legacy ladies on November 10 to visit Crystal Brook Gardens and Lavender Farm at Laggan. We drove from Goulburn through Taralga and returned through Crookwell.
When we arrived at the Lavender Farm, we enjoyed a morning tea of scones with jam and cream. The owner, Judy Basile, gave a talk on the inception of the farm and the formation of the various gardens. We were invited to stroll and enjoy them.
The roses were out in profusion in a great array of colors. The speciality shop was popular with many purchases being made. After a lunch of homemade pot pies, it was time to return home without stopping via Crookwell.
BIRTHDAY
One member celebrated a birthday in November and we wished Mena Dutaillis a very, very happy birthday on the 22nd.
