Goulburn and District Racing Club experienced a warm afternoon for its annual Goulburn Cup meeting on Sunday and plenty of racegoers took advantage, dressing for the occasion with some contesting the fashions on the Field.

There were prizes on offer for the best dressed racegoers from the very young right through to the ageless beauties who certainly knew how to present themselves with style, suitable for the warm weather and the time of the event.
Judging of this event was in the hands of three very experienced ladies of fashion Sharon Lenton from Thoroughbred Evens Australia, Brooke Strathan and internationally renowned milliner Cynthia Jones- Bryson.
Ultimatelt these ladies were looking for Goulburn and District Racing Clubs representatives for the regional 2017/18 South East Racing Association Fashions on the Field to be held on Country Championships Day at Goulburn Racecourse on Saturday February 24.
Whether people were contesting the Fashions event or not there was plenty of colour all around the racecourse with many people just dressing up to get into the spirit of this major day on Goulburn's spring racing carnival.
Goulburn's next race meeting is the Fred Cooper Cup meeting on Thursday December 14.
