Police have urged residents to lock their cars following the break-in of twenty vehicles over the past two months.

The break-ins have taken place on Auburn St, Taralga Rd and Gundaroo St.
Police believe that a number of the break-ins have been linked.
So far, a male youth has been arrested in relation to these offences.
“The latest spate again emphasis the need for people to secure their vehicles and not leave valuables inside, the vast majority of stealing from motor vehicles are from unlocked vehicles,” Hume LAC detective inspector Chad Gillies said.
“Ramifications of this go beyond the initial theft and can often lead to subsequent offences such as fraud.
“Police are urging for public assistance to better protect themselves from this type of crime.”
Investigation into these incidents are ongoing.
