This is being supported by the Catholic Education Office Canberra/Goulburn.
The program is called SPICE (Supported Playgroup in Catholic Education).
It differs from a normal playgroup as a staff member from the school is released to help families to run the group.
The group is about playing together, looking together, talking together, singing together and reading together.
SPICE groups aim to: focus on play and everyday learning opportunities, focus on involving families in their children’s learning, help build learning partnerships and build capacity in schools.
Ss Peter and Paul’s group is on Tuesday and runs each week in school time from 10am to 12 noon.
It is free and families with children from babies to five years are most welcome.
