The meeting is to commence at 7.30am at WorkSpace 2580 in Clinton Street.
The meeting will be the first step in the chamber’s consideration of the draft plan. The chamber will be looking to make a submission to the council on the draft plan which is to be on public exhibition until February 28.
In addition to being an opportunity to ask questions of the general manager about the plan, the chamber will be looking to ascertain the council’s review process following the public exhibition period.
How elements of the council’s Smart City Strategy have been incorporated into the draft plan will be of interest, as the chamber provided input into the development of the strategy.
The chamber is keen to work in tandem with the council and other stakeholders on efforts to introduce smart poles and other technology, to help make the CBD and the greater Goulburn Mulwaree region run more efficiently and provide valuable data insights for existing and future businesses and entrepreneurial industries.
To provide the opportunity to chamber members to hear about the draft plan first-hand from Warwick Bennett is integral to the chamber’s mission to create a dynamic environment for business growth, networking and training which facilitates a strong local economy for the benefit of all.
