An afternoon Twilight Fete on Saturday, December 16 will be a major fundraiser for local and independent charity, Angels for the Forgotten. The funds go towards vital services as part of the charity’s programs.

The main attraction will be a Santa sleigh box car relay, which businesses, sporting teams or clubs can enter for free as a team of four.

Teams will be competing for a $1000 gift voucher from Studio 4 Signs and Design. There will also be prizes for the ‘best dressed’ team and sleigh. Friends and family can sponsor their team of choice to further raise money for the charity.

The day also includes: markets, stalls, guessing competitions, games, food at the cafe, including Christmas fare, and lots of other traditional fete day activities.

‘Australian Santa’ and Cranky Koala will bring presents for children.

The Angels’ giving tree will still be up and receiving gifts on the day, so feel free to support the charity and donate lots of Christmas gifts or foods.

Kick-start your Christmas with this wonderful day of giving, fun and joy with the team at Angels for the Forgotten on Saturday, December 16, 3pm to 7.30pm, at 67 Sloane Street, next to the train station.
