However on Monday, Rocky Hill had a different image.

Those around the lookout might have spotted two naked women looking over Goulburn. You might be reading this and wondering why two women with no clothing would choose to look over the city with their arms waving in the air.

The answer: This photo was taken as part of Get Naked Australia which celebrates “fun outdoor nudity in great locations!” The caption read: “Get Naked Goulburn! Summer is probably the only time you can shed your clothes in this place.” 

We hope there weren’t many children receiving a crash course in the female body or museum volunteers tripping in shock. Here at The Post it is safe to say that this summer we’ll be keeping our clothes on! 

It was short and sweet but put paid to any possibility of perks in prison. (How’s that for alliteration?) A spokesman for Corrections Minister David Elliot on Monday felt moved to release this quirky statement:

“Reports this morning that a Sydney prison will be introducing 'pizza nights' are incorrect,” he said.

“When the proposal was taken to the Minister for Corrections David Elliott he immediately rejected the concept. This incentive will not be further considered.” Rather cheesy, we thought. It certainly made a change from press releases about ‘rapid build prisons.’

We note with interest in a council report that Goulburn’s average daily water use during October was just 8.4 megalitres. It’s close to that asked of residents at the height of the drought when the city was placed on level five restrictions. Obviously most people have retained the conservation mindset.
