While some people took a dip then returned home for dinner many people stayed for the movie and took advantage of the food stalls with a wide variety of take away delights and snacks.
When the sun went down a large crowd sat on the grass in the evening warmth to watch Moana. Crowd numbers were swelled by visiting hockey players who had finished their under 15s national tournament or had arrived early to train for the under 18s competition.
The free Pictures Pool and Popcorn event attracted a considerable number of people who had not been to the Goulburn Aquatic Centre for some time but will possibly think about patronising the community facility particularly on hot days in the future.
