Club members and their familiesl enjoyed the yummy food platters catered by the Telegraph Hotel Bistro, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed several rounds of Kelly Pool in the afternoon.
New and old members lined up to renew their membership for the 2018 season, ready for the Summer competition, due to commence on February 5.
“Don’t forget to nominate your team or register your interest to join a team,” Assistant secretary Katie Yeo said. “Sign-up sheets are available at the pub lounge.”
President President Tony Smith offered his congratulations to all the winners in 2017 and thanked the secretaries Mel Lawrence and Katie Yeo for pulling presentation day together and their efforts throughout the year.
“Thank you to our supporters, Lerida Pastoral, Telegraph Hotel Gunning, Mick Gerstenberg, Upper Lachlan Wood Guild, and the Collector Pot Black Club,” he said. “Without your support this day wouldn’t be as successful as it has been.”
President Tony Smith thanked everyone for coming and for their ongoing support of the snooker club.
“We don’t get funding from anywhere else, so this club is run by the members for the members, he said. “We would like to see everyone to keep participating and enjoying the sport and encouraging other people to join the club.”
