Back for its fourth year, the event will be held in Belmore Park on Saturday, February 24.
Donovan, regarded as one of the country’s most versatile Indigenous entertainers, will headline the youth festival. More recently she won ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.’
Casey will take to the stage with a set, featuring some of her biggest hits.
Returning to Goulburn for Vibesfest 2018 is DMC: Dauntless Movement Crew, which last year fascinated audiences with energetic performances in acrobatics, parkour, tricking and dance. DMC will close the night with a performance which will include flame blowing.
DMC will be holding parkour workshops in Belmore Park from 4pm, booking details for this will be released on the Vibesfest 2018 Facebook Event Page.
Popular local support acts will also feature on stage at Vibesfest, with local DJ Brayden Judd kicking the night off. Other notable performers and Vibesfest regulars include: Mark Churchill, Polly Hazelton and Jesse Parsons, with more acts to be announced.
Vibesfest 2018 is a free community event showcasing live music from both local and national artists, made possible with the support of Goulburn youth group and hosts of the event, Be Seen Be Heard, Goulburn Regional Conservatorium, Mercure Goulburn, Goulburn Soldiers Club and Goulburn Mulwaree Council as well as The Goulburn Multicultural Festival and local radio station Eagle FM.
The day promises to be action packed with Goulburn Carnivale and the multicultural markets being held before Vibesfest. The events, from 10am to 4pm, celebrate the city’s cultural diversity and include live performances.
Vibesfest runs from 5pm to 10pm.
