For long periods throughout this game play was dominated by very good batting from both teams.
The win sets up Wollondilly to challenge Trinity as minor premiers in two weeks.
It also demonstrated that Crookwell has the ability to both score well and defend and is not a team to be taken lightly in the finals, starting on March 10.
Josh Lumsden was the first to reach 50 after aggressively opening the batting for Wollondilly.
He was joined by Macleay Robinson who also retired unbeaten on 50 in a chanceless innings.
Valuable quick runs were also secured by Jordan Gregory (17) and Raheem Abdul who finished on nine not out.
This enabled Wollondilly to reach a very competitive score of six wickets down for 168 runs after 25 overs.
Will Evans was the best of the Crookwell bowlers with figures of two wickets for 16 runs against.
Chris Duffy and Paul Bishop began the chase aggressively for Crookwell.
Bishop (13) was looking to open his shoulders before being bowled by Jacob Woods.
Woods would finish with impressive figures of one wicket for eight runs off his two overs.
Duffy continued batting strongly before retiring for an unbeaten 52.
Zac McGregor batted confidently to join Duffy unbeaten on 51, mirroring Wollondilly’s batting.
A slower run rate however, put the remaining Crookwell batsman under pressure and four quick wickets fell for as many runs in the final few overs stopping Crookwell in their tracks.
Macleay Robinson had the best figures after he picked up two wickets for 19 off four overs.
His second wicket came when Abdul Raheem took an impressive catch in first slip, holding onto a difficult chance, which came sharply to his right hand.
Bella Greig also picked up a late wicket and finished with figures of one wicket for eight runs against off her three overs.
