Warriors won the toss and elected to bat first with the aim of getting their top order batsmen in match ready form for the fast approaching finals series. Also with the heat of Saturday it was an opportunity for their other players to largely stay out of the sun and stay cool.

Jobin Thomas and Sreejesh Sreedharan started the scoring moving along quickly before Thomas's wicket feel for 39.
Three wickets falling in one over as Glenn Taylor put on a one man fightback with Sreejesh going for 50 and the hit man Russell Mills for just two.
Mills does not appeared to have found form with the bat since his return from injury. He has been dismissed fairly cheaply in a couple of his recent turns at the crease.
Mani Chahal settled things a bit till he was also bowled by Glenn Taylor, Warriors were four wickets down for 134 in just 23 overs. The dangerous Jestin Jacob scored freely, hitting 40 from 30 balls but was bowled by Grant Norton with the score on 207.
Abdul Raheem, who batted for most of the game was next out for a classy 64. Warriors were six wickets down for 237. Some late hitting from Pawan Aulakh and Arun Raj, who left burn marks on the grass from his pull shot took Warriors to 278 at end of the innings. Glenn Taylor best bowler with four wickets for 30 from eight overs and Raheem 64 best with the bat.
Hibo Gold was playing with only nine players, which also explained high target from Warriors, started there innings well with Sam Kent and Conner Deighton looking to punish anything loose, before Sam Kent gave a catch back to Andrew Hopkins, for a caught and bowled.
Hibo Gold was one down for 59 at 10 overs. Deighton soon followed. At two for 61 they brought on David Smith for as short lived spell.
He left a small gap between bat and pad to be bowled, the third wicket down for 67 in the 12th over 12.
Russell Mills took the keeping gloves off this game and took a turn at bowling. He had Glenn Taylor stumped. Grant Norton also stumped, seeing some fast gloves from Pawan (Dohni) Aulakh behind the stumps with only nine players Hibo feel short with a total of 123 while chasing 279.
