On Sunday, February 18, a 37-year-old man was caught by police attached to the Hume Police District exceeding the speed limit while travelling on the Federal Highway at Yarra.
Officers stopped the man speeding and asked the ACT man to produce his licence.
Police say he could not produce his license and when further questioned the man gave a false name.
Police soon determined at the roadside what his correct name was and the man’s license had been disqualified.
The man was arrested and charged with exceeding the speed limit, driving whilst disqualified and stating a false name.
He will face Goulburn Local Court on the February 21.
