Starting at Chinamans Lane the course extended over the rolling hills to the turnaround at Lambs Lane. With the easterly rolling in riders had a tailwind out to the turnaround but the return journey would be tough going.

A Grade set off first and nothing separated the riders for the whole race. In the sprint finish Riley Fleming took line honours from Callum Emmerton and Cameron Roberts.

Only two riders contested the B Grade championship round with Josh Daniel taking out a comfortable win over Phil Champion.

The four leading C Grade riders of Wayne Bensley, Mark Stutchbury, Nadine Moroney and Michael Hall  broke away from the other riders and opened up a handy lead by the turnaround. Nothing separated the lead bunch as they approached the finish line and in the sprint Mark Stutchbury edged out Nadine Moroney with Wayne Bensley in third place.

Tony Wade took out the win in D Grade with Antoinette Mercuri second and Belinda Smith third.

Next Wednesday racing is on Middle Arm Road for the Shepco Rural & Domestic Maintenance individual time Trial. Sign on is opposite the cemetery by 6pm and racing starts at 6.30pm. New riders are always welcome.
