Troy Herfoss secured an emphatic win in the Australian Superbike Championships (ASBK) second-round race two at Wakefield Park on Sunday afternoon and claimed the overall round winner ahead of Wayne Maxwell second in the second race and second overall after winning race one. Josh Waters finished third in race two and third on the day. With about four laps to go Herfoss passed Maxwell on the inside to take the lead and he steadily opened up a gap. Herfoss said after race two that the winds made racing extremely difficult and it took a lot of the speed out of the race.
