The forum hosted by the national child harm prevention charity, ChildSafe, comes in light of the recent Royal Commission’s recommendations. It is part of a national tour.
The highly-trained ChildSafe team will facilitate a low-cost public information session in more than 30 locations throughout the country in 2018.
“This information session is intended for local organisations to bring their questions about what they can be doing to improve their safeguards against harm to children,” a spokesman said.
It will include a presentation from the ChildSafe team, as well as information from law firm, Lewis Holdway Lawyers, and Insurance firm, EA Insurance Services, to assist organisations with a holistic approach to child safety.
There will also be an open Q&A session with the panel taking questions from the floor.
It will be held at the Goulburn Soldiers Club on Thursday from 7pm to 9pm
