Goulburn Lantern Club, raising funds for the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) and supporting families in the Goulburn area, held its monthly meeting at Cascades Restaurant Best Western Plus on Friday, March 9.

In the absence of President Rona, secretary Jenny Thomas chaired the meeting. Jenny welcomed members and a special welcome to visitors Lynne Stutchbury, Barbara Duffy and Margaret Stewart.
Future money raising activities were discussed. Final arrangements were made to celebrate Goulburn Lantern Club’s 41st birthday lunch to be held at Cascades Restaurant on Friday, April 13. Arrive 11.30am for a 12 noon lunch. Cost $26. Members and guests are most welcome.
RIDBC services continue to expand and through its Teleschool program, children all over Australia are now receiving support.
At the conclusion of the meeting a delicious lunch was enjoyed by members. Raffles were won by Desma Carter and Mena Dutaillis.
