THE Goulburn Stockmen will be ruing a lapse in concentration at the end of extra time, which saw them lose their major semifinal on Sunday.
With two minutes of extra time remaining, Jeremy Braun kicked a field goal, which had the Stockies thinking they had the game won.
But it was not to be.
The Thirlmere-Tahmoor Roosters capitalised on the Stockies early celebrations to recover the ball from a short kick-off. From the ensuing set of six, the Roosters' Robbie Mears crashed over the line right on the death sealing a last gasp win for the visitors and forcing the Stockmen to wonder what went wrong.
