The once popular stop for truckies, which had been in business for 17 years, closed on Monday.
Owner Malcolm Biddlecombe said on Wednesday the closure of George St was a "major factor" in its closure, though he did not wish to elaborate.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council Traffic Committee voted at its November 18 meeting to re-open the road, but it may be "too little, too late" according to some in the town.
