The forum will be held at St Saviour’s Cathedral Hall on Thursday, September 15, from 7pm.
“Wyatt (pictured) is the dynamic Federal Member for Longman in Queensland who has already pioneered opportunities for all young Australians through his election to Federal Parliament,” Mr Schultz said.
“Wyatt has demonstrated that young people have a desire and the capacity to become actively involved in the national political debate.
“I believe his successful entry into politics is inspirational which is why I encourage all of the young people to come to the Hume Youth Forum this week.
“I am confident that people of all ages will come to the same conclusion I have; we need more young Australians like Wyatt to stand up and become advocates for their communities.
“The Hume Youth Forum will be a fantastic opportunity for the younger generation in Hume to raise their views about important national and local issues with me as their Federal Member and our special guest Wyatt Roy MP in a friendly and open atmosphere.
“Regrettably, due to an extension of the Parliamentary sitting week we had to postpone the Hume Youth Forum scheduled for June.
“Wyatt has been very generous to again make time in his busy schedule to come and be our special guest right here in Goulburn for the new forum date.”
Light refreshments will be provided RSVP by September 13 by phone 4822 2277 or email: rsvpschultz@ aph.gov.au.
