Job Description

Reporting to the Group Accounting Manager and Chief Financial Officer, your duties will include:

• Providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the growing business
• Assist in month end accounting processes
• End to end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties
• Complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding
• Assist the accountant with maintaining and administering the companies Fixed Asset Register
• Assist with the monthly posting of recurring journals

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have an accounting degree or equivalent, they will have proven experience in an Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounts or Bookkeeping role. They will have the ability to problem solve, have great attention to detail, excellent accounting software package experience, and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook). Most importantly; the successful candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset to help streamline existing processes.
