We are seeking an energetic and mature minded individual to assist in the management of day-to-day operations of our grain warehousing / distribution site at Trangie.

The core accountabilities of the Assistant Site Manager position include:

  • Assisting with staff rostering and day-to-day supervision of the team and workflow, including management of harvest casuals
  • Engaging with growers and other customers
  • Toolbox talks, assist with compliance activities and reporting

  • Receive sampled grain via truck at the weighbridge and enter weights into our system
  • Monitor the flow of grain from truck unloading and onto hopper, auger or other equipment
  • Protect and store grain in bunkers or permanent silo storage (includes building, breaking-down and tarping bunkers)

  • Operate equipment including augers, tractors, hoppers, loaders
  • Maintain a high level of customer service

About your experience
